INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY

Individual therapy involves working one-on-one with a mental health provider to address issues and struggles you may be experiencing in your day-to-day life. In individual therapy, you can learn problem-solving skills, develop communication skills, explore and create life and career goals, learn to identify and better express your emotions, and find ways to cope with stressors in your life. Individual therapy may be short-term or long-term and the duration is often determined by the needs you identify at the beginning of therapy.
